The #1 reason you’re not working with a coach:
You don’t have time in your busy day.
I used to feel the same way. I worked from 7am to 7pm and couldn’t imagine taking time out of my day for something with seemingly intangible results.
But I was longing for some peace of mind and wanted to stop thinking of work the whole weekend and late at night.
Work consumed me. I was caught up in stories I told myself about success and hard work. I wanted to meet people’s expectations, deadlines and have an impact with my work. So much pressure, so little time.
That was until I came across this quote:
“You don’t lack time, it’s just not a priority for you.”
That hit me hard.
I realised I was putting work first. But if I wanted to consistently deliver quality work, I had to prioritise myself.
So, I started working with a coach.
The surprising result? Overall I gained back time.
The thoughts that show as imposter syndrome or doubt, overthinking – they are a distraction that drain your energy and focus. Coaching allowed me to see these patterns and do something about them.
When will you start to prioritise yourself?
