Ever had one of those moments where you just stop?
I am spending a couple of days in my hometown of Zermatt. So I took the opportunity to go on a little hike and take my last call of the day by a pristine mountain lake.
As I was an hour early I just used that time to sit there and do this: Nothing.
I didn’t check my phone, I didn’t listen to any music, I didn’t take any picture (I took this one once I left ,-). I sat there and watched the lake and the Matterhorn.
People came and left, my thoughts also.
And it made me realise one thing:
Doing nothing has literally become luxury.
If you want to treat yourself today: Carve out some time, even just a few minutes, to simply be. No agenda, no distractions. Just you and the quiet.
You don’t need a mountain lake for that.
