Trusting your own path

What resonates most with me as a coach is the opportunity to work beyond my own needs and ambitions. It’s simply a privilege to watch my clients be the focus of my work and freely express their thoughts and aspirations.

I get to experience them learn and grow, experience moments of realisation and embrace new-found confidence. Sometimes I literally see those aha-moments appearing.

What makes coaching so unique (in my opinion) is the absence of a prescriptive approach. It’s not about imposing my perspective or dictating the way forward. Instead, it’s rooted in trust, curiosity and a genuine openness to each person’s unique experience.

It’s simply the kind of work where you matter

In each session I guide my clients through a process of self-discovery and growth. I would like to say that “I am simply there” – though the truth is probably a bit deeper. But what I mean is, the work or the output really is not about me. It’s about you. It is essentially what you make of it.

See me as the facilitator of your success. Because I don’t experience no success. If you trust the process and let it work, it will work. As simple as that.

At the heart of this approach in coaching is my belief that every one of my clients has the ability to come up with solutions to their unique challenges. Who would I be if I had all the answers? I’d just sell them somehow instead.

And witnessing this happening I find to be a very humbling experience. Time and time again.

You know what’s best for you. 100%. But sometimes you need someone to help you see it, who helps you uncover the blind spots. And that’s my job.

coaching can manifest in various ways for clients. This may include increased self-awareness, improved decision-making abilities, enhanced communication skills, greater clarity in goal-setting, and a renewed sense of purpose or direction in life.
