Coaching is not a magic pill. I am very clear about this. Coaching isn’t a quick fix either. To truly benefit, you need to put in the work.
In today’s world where everything is available to us online and the self-improvement industry is flooding us with social media posts, it can be tempting to believe that a video or a book can help you solve your issues. It’s easy to be lured into believing new trends and methods on Instagram or TikTok.
I love going to bookstores. And oftentimes, I find myself browsing through books that talk about solutions to obstacles I encounter in my life. And it is very tempting to believe that by buying this book, reading it, and maybe applying any insights to your own life, things will magically change.
But they won’t. Change isn’t magic. A book provides you with information. Real change demands agency and responsibility.
Before our first session, I tell my clients that I’m here to facilitate, not dictate. My role? Your thinking partner. I won’t prescribe the perfect solution or lay out your path. But I will help you uncover them.
Coaching opens doors to new thoughts, solutions, and creative ideas. But here’s the catch: you must engage in the process and give it room to work. Between sessions, take time for yourself. Walk, think, reflect—no music, no podcasts.
Remember, coaching works when you do. It’s a partnership. Invest your effort, and together, we’ll unlock your full potential.
