Purpose driven leadership

What happens when PhD students from the University of Zurich and ETH explore the depths of leadership and marketing? This week, I had the privilege of finding out. And the experience was great!

We started with leadership basics, i.e. why delegating is a key skill to mastering leadership. And we went all the way to covering the role of purpose in an organisation.

Or what many people know as Simon Sinek’s “why”. This was not only a lesson in leadership, but one in personal and organisational motivation – crucial for their current and future roles.

The purpose part was eye-opening and helped the group answer many of the initial questions and challenges they had. And it was a great experience for me to talk to scientists about connecting emotionally with their work.

This workshop clearly showed what role community, respectively the meaning of tribe holds in their organisation and it left them with easily implementable actions.

If you’re looking for ways to grow your team closer together, infuse some motivation and accountability – or build a tribe, then I have solutions for you.
