Perhaps you’ve lost confidence in planning for a better future?
For my part, I sometimes find it difficult to stop reading the news. What has he decided now? Who else is going to start a war? Which AI expert has yet another warning for all employees?
But I also remember one of my former bosses saying a few years ago: “I don’t know what I don’t know.
And that’s the truth. You can be fixated on the future, but you will not know how it will unfold.
Nor will any expert.
But there’s no point in telling you not to worry. Because telling someone not to worry has exactly the opposite effect.
So what do you do?
Bring the busy mind back into the present moment. Right now. Think about it. The past is a memory, the future a mental construct. Each moment, however, is what you have and where you can work towards a better outcome. That will eclipse your planning for a better future.
Take your chance. Your choice could change everything.
