The other day I saw a productivity hack that would help people get so productive they would see results like never before. All science based.
The hack was so meticulously engineered that you had to read the instructions several times to understand how to apply it.
While science based, let’s face it, change is really difficult.
And anything that feels remotely complicated or interferes with your routines will rarely stick.
There is a lot of well intended hacks and tricks to help you improve, become even better, do this, do that, produce more, and more.
It’s often the same hope: Relying on an external agent to help you change what you cannot change yourself. And therein lies the problem. True change doesn’t come from the latest productivity trick. It comes from identifying what truly drives you, which is deeply personal.
This is where coaching differs. It’s also grounded in science but thrives on simplicity. Through conversation, listening, and reflection, coaching brings clarity. No complex hacks needed—just space to think and reflect.
Sometimes, less is indeed more.
