Coaching for work brings a happier life
My leadership coaching focusses on professional goals. Still, you will feel a change beyond your work. I believe that feeling happier at work, will also give you more fulfillment in life. And this is a general observation from me.
Coaching allows me to work with clients from diverse backgrounds. Each with their own set of unique challenges, goals, and aspirations. Being a coach means helping my clients succeed and witnessing a change that happens with them.
As a coach, I help my clients with a wide range of issues. They can range from setting realistic expectations to finding a better work-life balance. I believe that putting things into perspective and finding ways to prioritise time for family and friends is an essential aspect of achieving long-term success and happiness.
The Transformative Power of Leadership Coaching
Seeing my clients experience an “aha moment” is always the best part of my job. It’s a rewarding feeling to know that I’ve helped someone overcome their obstacles. And if I can help even a few individuals become better leaders each month, and in turn, positively impact their teams, then I consider it a success.
I recently worked with a client who was a high-level executive at a large corporation. She was feeling overwhelmed and stressed. There was a struggle to manage her workload and maintain a healthy work-life balance. She came to me looking for guidance and support in regaining control of her life.
Together, we worked on a variety of strategies to help her prioritise her tasks and delegate responsibilities. She also implemented better time management techniques. We focused on working on communication techniques and building stronger relationships with her team.
As we progressed through the coaching sessions, I noticed a significant improvement in her confidence levels. I could also see her ability to handle challenging situations change for the better.
To me these changes were not only reflected in work results and feedback from her team. But I could literally see a change in her. As she started being happier, smilier and more confident.
And as she told me herself, these were changes that her family as well as friends also noticed. What a moment of joy for me!
Seeing her grow and develop as a leader was incredibly rewarding, and I felt proud to have played a role in her success.
Coaching truly is a transformative process. One that I am grateful to be part of.
