Do you multitask?

I struggle with this.

Trying to multitask and constantly being distracted.

There are moments when I want to throw my phone out of my window. Admittedly it’s all just a choice. I don’t have to scroll mindlessly through random reels. I don’t have to check the news when I should write a post for LinkedIn.

I get it. It’s really hard. And solutions needs to be individual.

But what I know is that doing one thing at a time is what makes you really productive.

It can feel overwhelming to have countless things on your task list. You hardly know where to start and you don’t how to prioritise either.

And that’s exactly the moment when you need to focus on one single task. Start it and finish it. Or if it cannot be finished define a milestone that needs to be reached.

And then give it your all, not give into distractions, neither emails nor conversations.

Finishing what you’ve started or reaching that milestone feels so rewarding. And an hour of focused work on one thing will get you so much more done than trying to do 5 things at the same time.

How do you go about multitasking? I’m curious to hear your thoughts on this.
