Deciphering Website Traffic

I’m getting to the point where I enjoy looking at Google analytics. Since launching in summer, there is a specific pattern in website traffic, that I’ve noted. And it likely really resonates with coaching and why people even look for coaches.

Saturday and Sunday my websites gets very few visitors. I guess on those days work and work development is not exactly high on people’s minds, understandably.

The real action kicks off on Monday .. particularly during the early morning hours from 7 am to 10 am, and then again around lunchtime from 12 pm to 2 pm. It’s fascinating how these times stand out as peak hours every single week.

Workdays are generally good in terms of visitors. Mornings are prime for engagement.

How much can you read into it? What drives these patterns. Or is this based on people commuting, having a first coffee at the office? I’m not sure. Do people have an urge to change their work situation once they arrive at the office and that’s why they look for coaching? Do they have more time to think about over lunch while at work? Maybe.

But certainly a good time to talk to have a catch-up over coffee and see how people are doing.
