Human leadership is one of those keywords that my website is found for most often. That makes me happy! It shows people’s interest in the topic – that makes me more optimistic for the future of the corporate world.
So human leadership, what is it actually?
You find various definitions (varying to a degree). But with all things human, this approach can still be as unique as every person.
We all have different strengths, weaknesses and values. And living those also means different approaches to leadership.
Let’s dive into today’s coaching question: “What do you intend to change with a human leadership approach?”
No, I don’t want to hear a definition from you on human leadership. But I want to know how you apply it and what change you are seeking with it?
Once you have an answer, go a bit deeper. What is the difference that your employees will experience? What do you seek to improve with human leadership? In which areas does this approach still fail and what will you do about this?
Once you have this, go even deeper: What does this mean to you? Now that you have some of above answers: Why do you care about human leadership?
And what does this have to do with you and your life?
