Let’s dive into our 10th coaching question: I’ve written about Sunday scaries several times in my blog. A common feeling that are familiar with.
Today’s question is “What should be different this evening?”
Here’s the thing: if your Sunday evenings are consistently dreary, it’s time for a change.
A first towards change is understanding how you would like to feel instead. With clarity on this, you can work towards getting there. Is it the job that needs changes, is it a particular project that is coming up, is it something in your personal life, and then dig in a bit deeper.
Consider the example of an upcoming project. If typically you are nervous or anxious about the week because of an upcoming project, what about this project is causing you headaches? Is it the content, is it the timelines, is it people you work with? etc. etc.
If you take the time and do it seriously, you can untangle your concerns and get to a much better place in your mind – which will allow you to sleep peacefully again.
